Ambiaka’s spiritual path began with intuitive gifts that surfaced in childhood through early divination readings. She dedicated herself to mastering her psychic connection, utilizing the I Ching and eventually specializing in the Tarot to access the unseen. Her formal practice as a Priestess started in 1988, but her focus shifted dramatically in 1990 when a passion for community building was ignited. This led her to become a founding member of Oak Spirit Sanctuary and, in 1992, a High Priestess and creator of the Balefires of Beltane festival. For nearly a decade, she was a principal organizer of large-scale spiritual gatherings, developing diverse skills from ritual crafting to event management. This work continuously deepened her Tarot practice and connection with the wider magickal community. Her primary focus today is to share this lifetime of wisdom by leading the teaching coven, Empowered Cauldron Academy.
Ambiaka has been reading Tarot since 1983, specializing today in the Daughters of the Moon deck. Her sessions are tailored, intuitive, and designed to foster client participation.
Before each reading, she calls on her guides for enlightenment. The client is guided to refine their question and use their non-dominant hand to select three or four cards, integrating their personal energy into the process. Ambiaka then translates the cards into a unique narrative. Rather than relying on memorized meanings, she allows her guides to convey the story, ensuring that every reading is a distinctive and direct communication tailored precisely to the client's current situation and energy.
One of Ambiaka's lifelong passions has been the collection and sharing of Pagan chants. Over time, she began gathering these songs into a personal chant book, not only to preserve their words but to keep their magick alive. In 2014, she co-founded enCHANTment with two friends, a project that successfully brought this musical love into a variety of sacred settings, including the Pagan Spirit Gathering and the Beltane festival in Colorado. In 2020, she wove together her musical and ritual skills to create the Nearly Full Moon Howl—a monthly chanting circle that began outdoors and has since evolved into an indoor, drumming-enhanced gathering, fostering deep rhythmic connection among all participants.
When it comes time to marry, you deserve an officiant who listens deeply—not just to your wishes, but to the complexities that often come with love and family dynamics. I had my first tarot reading
with Ambiaka recently, and it
won’t be my last. I found her
insights regarding a trip I was
soon to take extremely
accurate. In fact, I texted her
while on that trip to let her
know that the stuff we had
discussed during the reading
had happened or had already
been planned to happen. I
know that in the end, everyone
controls their own destiny, but
I can’t recommend a reading
from Ambiaka enough. If for no
other reason than to see what
the possibilities ahead could
be.

I came to this reading session during an extremely difficult time in my life. I appreciated the way
that Ambiaka guided me from asking a very broad question to ones that were more specific and well-worded.
I enjoyed her easy going mannerthat helped me lighten up even though I was feeling under significant duress.
Parts of the reading were difficult for me to hear - the cards were not offering rainbows or unicorns, and
Ambiaka was real about the potential future challenge I was facing, but sandwiched that information within a
focus on the cards that described the work on which I need to put my attention and act on, daily, to get
through the incredibly rough time, successfully. It takes skill to share this kind of difficult information with
people in a way that is matter of fact and yet also supportive: Ambiaka did that for me.

We honestly can’t praise Ambiaka enough—our wedding felt like a true fairytale, all thanks
to her. From the moment we got engaged, we knew we wanted herto officiate. Our ceremony was beautiful,
personal, and full of love—we felt so seen and supported every step of the way, and Ambiaka helped us to stay
centered and in the moment. She brought such warmth, care, and magic to the whole experience. If you’re
thinking about who should officiate your wedding, stop thinking and book her. Seriously. She’s amazing!
